Dining Experiences

Garden Room

One of two main indoor dining areas,  the garden room is a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast and lunch at your leisure. It is decorated to feel light and airy bringing the garden into the room but keeping the character of the cottage with an open plan high apex ceiling and exposed beams

Once you sit down and enjoy your meal you will be sure to see the wildlife in the garden and out into the countryside through the panoramic doors on the east and south side of the room, of course, we always want to open the door so you can hear the birds as well as just seem them.

The garden room is also a splendid place in the cottage to read a book in the casual chairs and watch the world go by, or enjoy an afternoon tea and cake, of course if you prefer to eat dinner here as well then that is no problem

Dining Room

The dining room has been designed and decorated to enjoy formal evening dinners. It has a large table that can comfortably sit 6 people on our luxury seats.

Enjoy the views through the double doors out on to the courtyard and garden, as the sun slowly sets behind the cottage while you enjoy chef Laura’s culinary delights

The Garden

Just outside of the garden room doors you can enjoy the perfect English temperatures for any meal at our traditional outdoor dining set or how about the courtyard on the comfortable outdoor seating for an afternoon cocktail, glass of wine or cup of tea.

We also have the bistro set which can be doubled up as sun loungers for just sitting back and enjoying the British weather with a drink in hand and finally, how about getting close to nature and sitting on a picnic blanket under the tree.

Once the sun has set, we can light the fire pit in the garden. If there are clear skies how about a spot of stargazing- the light pollution in the countryside is minimal making it an amazing experience. Marshmallows will be available for the fire!
