We have spent the past 10 years working on high-end, luxury charter yachts, where our guests’ happiness has always been our sole focus. We decided it was time to return to our home roots, both being born and raised in England, to create something unique where we could bring our passion for this magnificent country and for hosting guests in an elite way, together.
And thus, English Cottage Vacation was born. With a true love for the surrounding nature and history of England, we have carefully crafted a truly special experience here and we cannot wait to share the beauty of the United Kingdom and all of her hidden secrets with you.

Our History
When we met in 2008, we quickly realised that we were perfect for each other. Sharing very similar childhoods, interests and goals, we were inseparable.
We married in the summer of 2010 in our home town, just outside the beautiful Roman city of Bath, and soon after, changed our lives to pursue our dream; to live and work on the ocean.
We flew to the Caribbean and after a whirlwind of events, we landed our first position as captain and chef on a beautiful sailing catamaran. It was such a perfect job for us that we thrived in the industry, growing from strength to strength. During that time, we gained invaluable experience in hospitality, customer service and the ability to provide vacations and holidays tailored to the exact needs of our guests.
Throughout our career, we have been very fortunate to have sailed many parts of the world including the Caribbean and the Mediterranean and we have entertained thousands of people along the way, many of whom are still friends of ours today. We decided to return to our beautiful homeland for a new adventure and continue doing what we love, sharing our love for life, England and entertaining! And so English Cottage Vacation was born.
